Renato Kousis
Renato Kousis teaches Trombone, at Musical Praxis Conservatory.
Studies
He was born in 1989.
He started playing the trombone at the age of 10 with his first teacher Leonidas father and the conductor of the Ioannina Philharmonic Band Dimitris Ambatzis. He is a graduate of the Music School of Ioannina and a graduate of harmony in the class of Konstantinos Lolis at the Municipal Conservatory of Ioannina. He continued his studies in Athens with Michalis Michailidis at the Municipal Conservatory of Zografou where he received his diploma with “Excellent”, at the same time he takes jazz trombone lessons with Antonis Andreou at the Athens Conservatory and the Fakanas Art Conservatory.
He has attended seminars and classes with Thomas Horch (Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra), Jonas Bylund (Academy of Music in Hannover), Jay Friedman (Chicago Symphony Orchestra), Håkan Björkman (Royal Academy of Music in Stockholm), Scott Hartman (Yale University ), Spyros Farougia (National Opera), George Kriberi (ERT), Jesper Busk Sørensen (Berliner Philharmoniker), Nir Erez (Israel Philharmonic Orchestra), Konstantin Koev (Flanders Symphony Orchestra), Achillea Liarmakopoulos (Canadian) Bamberger Symphoniker), Costa Avgerino (KOA), Andrea Rolando Theodorou (KOA).
Professional Activity
He has collaborated with the Symphony and Orchestra of Various Music of ERT, the National Opera, the Athenian Youth Symphony Orchestra, Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra of Athens, Michalis Emirlis, Stavros Michalakakos, Mc Yinka, Rosewood Brothers, Nina Lopa Zoha , Melina Aslanidou and others.
He has taken part in theatrical performances as a musician and actor in productions of the National Theater and the Poreia Theater.
