Odysseas Tziritas teaches Electric Guitar at Musical Praxis Conservatory.
Studies
Odysseas Tziritas was born in Athens in 2001. In 2010, it started electric guitar lessons at the Conservatory of Music Practice, from where graduated in 2022, having as teachers Sotiris Pomonis, Giorgos Argyropoulos and Yiannis Dimakos, while he attended four pop rock ensembles with Alexandros Dandoulakis, along with other courses, such as contemporary theory, jazz theory and jazz piano.
Graduated with Distinction at University of West London Grade 8 in Electric Guitar and modern theory, followed by two teaching diplomas (DipLCM, ALCM) of the University of West London. In 2019, he started his studies at the Department of Music Studies in Athens (EKPA).
Educational Activity
Odysseas Tziritas has been working since 2024 at the National Conservatory of Nea Smyrni, as a teacher of electric guitar and musical ensembles. He also gives private lessons in electric guiter and contemporary theory since 2022.
Professional Activity
He collaborates as a guitarist with artists such as Stella, Dimitris Mitsotakis (Endelechia), Noda Pappa and Amalia & the Architects. In 2019 he recorded his first personal album, “Butterflies”, while followed by “Gonzo Bliss” a year later. Since 2022, he is a member of Lungs, a six-piece band with both a western and indigenous sound, which has released a first set of tracks.
In the fall of 2023 he recorded with a new group of musicians, the “Midwives”, “Well Educated Monster”, a classical guitar record, double bass, piano, strings and wind instruments.
